Then I'd look at the device manager, event logs and google, ask the forum here for further help. Don't go removing things until you have an idea where the issue lies...
After that it might be worth finding out if there is a BIOS upgrade for the MoBo first...I had to do that so my Ivy Bridge E CPU would work, again if you need help with that, then we need what hardware your using...updating the Bios with an Asus MoBo is quite straight forward, you don't even need to have the CPU on the board...just power.
