Hey guys i just built a new computer with an asus z87 pro motherboard, intel i5 4670k processor and I'm using windows 7 pro. I bought a turtle beach zla headset and the game sound comes through perfect and I can hear other people talk but Noone can hear me... I tried adjusting realtick(however that's spelled) and had no luck and I also tried going n my sound recorder but it still had no voice just static.. I tried both my front and back ports but had no luck.. I don't know what else to do and I'm not quit sure to know where to go to uninstall all drivers involving my sound or where to update drivers other than using the disk that came with my motherboard. That's assuming it is in fact a driver issue.. any help would be great!!!

I had a very similar problem where no one could hear me but I could hear everyone. On the back, you should have about 6 ports grouped together, just try randomly plugging the mic plugs into those into you get solid sound AND everyone can hear you. It sounds stupid because the green port is sound and the orange (maybe pink?) is mic, but for some reason, my speakers suddenly stopped working on the green port and I had to switch to some brownish one (occasionally I have to switch to a gray one). i have no explanation as to why this happened to me, but it could be worth a shot.
