Just built a new computer having some issues with RAM

Installed 16gigs of ddr4 windows is picking up all 16 but for some reason apparently 14.8 of it is being used yet i have like nothing intensive open?

Just for reference i dont mean i cant use all 16 i mean 15.8 of it is being used right now. 97% memory usage is normal?

No, sir. I removed my previous reply, I simply misread. So did it always work like that? Right from when you assembled the build and installed OS?

Just built it today, ive only noticed this after getting everything installed, seems like from what im seeing at the moment the non paged pool is at around 12 gigabytes unsure why

Have you tried closing Chrome and see how it looks? Chrome is said to be a memory hog, along with Skype. Try closing other apps and tell me if other processes are working fine without any lag, it could be malware or just some part of your setup. Also try running some games.

Fingers crossed i may have just fixed it, i forgot to update the network driver that comes with the motherboard, its even out of date on the motherboards website updated the killer networking suite and now im sitting on 20% used with 107 megabytes of non paged pool

Yes, I somewhere read that it had something to do with network drivers. Glad you fixed it.
