Just built my 2nd computer, no power at all

I finished assembling my new pc, but there is no power to the machine when i press the power button. I had the same problem with the 1st pc but it actually had a post noise to it. With this case, there is no power or boot noise at all. I have a feeling its this psu that i bought from tiger direct but if anyone could help out that would be great.


I already have checked to see if everytjing is properly connected such as the 24 pin and 8 pin connectors.


The power supply i have is an x4 750w Fully Modular 80+ Bronze PSU.

is the mb sitting on top of the brass standoffs or is it touching the mb tray. make sure the io shield not shorting the mb out.

I just tried to breadboard my mobo and it wouldnt power on, so im guessing i received a dead motherboard...
