Just built my pc fans work on everything but monitor shows “no signal”

Hi,

I’ve just finished building my pc, I switch it on and all the leds fans and everything work. However when I plug my monitor in it shows “no signal”

Motherboard: MSI Z270
CPU: i5 7600k 3.8 ghz
Gpu: gtx 1050ti Cerberus 4gb
Ram: 16gb (2x8gb) Corsair vengeance 3000mhz
Psu: Corsair vs550w
Cpu cooler: cooler master hyper 212x

Using a hdmi to connect one monitor and will use a vga for the second monitor

Have you tried connecting the monitor to the motherbd ports?
