Hi, I've just put together my first system (6600K, gtx960, gigabyte z170 gaming k3, 16gb of corsair venegance lpx ram, 520w m12ii) and when I turn it on, all fans are spinning propperly. Lights on the motherboard don't turn on and the system acts like it's off when I connect it to the monitor. Please help.

Solution
Remove all the components and try booting with just the minimal requirements like no gpu(use integrated gpu) one stick of ram at a time and your device on which the OS is installed. I did have a problem with my old PC not recognizing any USB device and turns out that my chipset was failing. If you are not able to boot at all then it might be that your motherboard is faulty but don't jump to that conclusion. Investigate and conclude.
