Just built system, turns on and everything seems to be working properly but no video signal or any POST.

I gradually bought the components for my computer over a couple months and just received the CPU. So having the last part I would need to actually turn on and boot up to the BIOS, I set all the cords up and put every part in its place. I second guessed myself so I went back and followed the quick start guide that is in the motherboard manual and found that everything seems to be in the right place and orientation. Now to the actual problem, I turned on my desktop and the fans kicked in, all the lights on the motherboard and fans had power and the LED for HDD activity lit up signalling that they had power. But by using an HDMI cable to my monitor I am unable to get any video whatsoever and not even a POST. My computer specs are as follows:

Case: Corsair Carbide 500R White
Mobo: MSI Z97A Gaming 9 ACK
CPU: Intel Core I7 4790k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8 1600 Mhz Dual channel kit
PSU: 850 Gold certified OCZ Series.
HDD's: 3x500GB Laptop HDDS

I am planning on getting my GPU soon and then after to get the rest of my storage. The motherboard I have has an LED counter that displays error codes and on every bootup I get the A2 error code and then my system just hangs. I looked at my manual but it is very vague in the debug code table and I am lost as to what it is. I looked online and a couple people seem to be having this error code as well and many fixed there problem by clearing their CMOS. I have never done this before so I attempted to do this but nothing seemed to change. I may have done it wrong as I don't actually own a jumper and I just touched the two pins together by using my screwdriver bit, but I am just not sure. Some people said it could be faulty RAM so I swapped the position of the sticks but nothing changed. I haven't gone into a full troubleshoot of taking the minimum parts needed to boot and adding part by part back to see which is the one that is being a little prick, but I just wanted to see what you guys could come up with if my endeavours are fruitless. Also I have a thought that maybe I need to update the BIOS to support 5th Gen CPU's to be able to actually use my computer but then again I can't get into the BIOS. Never done that before but It keeps coming up in my head, so I have a suspicion that could be the problem. Thanks again.

I mean that A2 indicates that the system is waiting for a bootable device, but other than that, you should get signal on the MONITOR (not tv) if right cables and ports used.

"Did you find a more indepth manual or something"
It doesn't sound quite right...

Thanks though, I only have a TV at the moment but I may be able to borrow a monitor or something until I can actually buy a good monitor. Thinking now that it could be the TV, thanks man I'll check tonight when I get home from work.
