Just Cause 2 is not working

I had downloaded Just Cause 2 from www.apunkagames.net.  I had done whatever is instructed but when I started the game it works for some but when I play the game the sound for the game is coming but the screen was freezed and after some time it shows Fatal DirectX error! Code 6. Please! Please! Please! Help me to play the game. Please! Please! Please!

That site does not ring a bell with me. I would not be surprised if that was a less than official copy of the game, so it's not surprising that it's not working. In fact, I see quite a few titles on there that I know for certain the developers would never allow for free, if you got it for free.

My copy of Just cause 2 came from Steam, and as far as I know, that's the official outlet for it. Try that.

Could also be that you have a driver issue. Might be worth doing a clean install of your graphics drivers.
