5th gen you mean the i7 5960k? then you want a LGA 1150 4th gen to fit in there?

well my processor is i5-4690K 4th gen haswell, LGA 1150
then my motherboard is MSI Z97 GAMING 3 5th Gen LGA 1150 is the socket too. soo ive been curious about the 4th gen and 5th gen

teh only 5th gen around are the i7 octa and hexa core which uses lga 2011-v3
