I just got into PC building and i just finished mine and got windows 10 and everything running but when i launch GTA 5 (First game i downloaded) it ran slower than my old piece of crap laptop (around 16 gps) . I don't know bios well but i made sure all the basics were right but yet my game is still running at 16 fps which i KNOW my system should do better than that. I know this is very vague but i cant find anything on you tube to help me so i figured i would come here. I'm not sure if i somehow didnt plug something in, or if i missed some driver update (even though my PC is all up to date) need any and all help i can get. New to this whole thing

SYSTEM
MB: MSI ProSeries AMD Ryzen 2ND and 3rd Gen AM4 M.2 USB 3 DDR4 D-Sub DVI HDMI micro-ATX Motherboard (B450M PRO-VDH Max)
SSD: Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5" Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance
RAM: HyperX Fury 16GB 2666MHz DDR4 CL16 DIMM (Kit of 2) 1Rx8 Black XMP Desktop Memory HX426C16FB3K2/16
Graphics Card: Sapphire 11295-01-20G Radeon Pulse RX 5500 XT 8GB GDDR6 HDMI / Triple DP OC w/ Backplate (UEFI) PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

Solution
Make sure XMP is turned on, and you are using the latest drivers, from AMD. Ram is a bit slow, for a Ryzen rig. Really should be using at least 3200 speed ram.
