Just fresh installed with a new ssd. Is there a way to put the programs from my HDD onto my Start -> All programs menu and add them to windows start up? Or do I just have to reinstall the programs onto the HDD? Right now I am having to find the launcher in the folders and adding them to my desktop and I would prefer to have it on the list of programs.

I'm pretty sure they kept their original HD and moved it to a D drive, installed their OS again on their new SSD, and now they want to run the programs from the previous windows install on their D drive now on their SSD, and if that's the case, my previous post makes sense.
A lot of times programs install extra files, registry entries, etc, so the program needs to be reinstalled. This also puts them nicely in the start menu, the add/remove programs, and installs all the extra files needed that don't end up in the "program files" folder.

yeah what you said makes sense. My programs still work and everything, its just that they are not recognized properly as a program even though they would be on the same location if i was to reinstall it.
