Just got a 1050ti but my Monitor is VGA only

You need to tell us which exact GTX 1050 Ti card. If it only has HDMI output, you need a D/A converter. Some folks have found this to work OK, some not. https://www.amazon.com/Rankie-Gold-Plated-Active-Adapter-Converter/dp/B00ZMV7RL2
HDMI does not carry analog signals. So you need a converter. There will be some signal loss with a converter.

If it has DVI-I output, you can use one of these: https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-DVI-Cable-Adapter-DVIVGAMF/dp/B000067SOH
DVI-I carries analog and digital both.
