[SOLVED] Just got a new cpu, monitors won't turn on.

This shows that the i7-6700k should work with the minimal BIOS version required for the i5-6600. The required BIOS is one and the same. So I think we can rule out a BIOS compatibility issue, though it could be tried. Check the manual for how to update BIOS.

Worst case scenario is the i7-6700k being dead.

I just updated the bios to the latest version 2018, but nothing changed, tomorrow I'll bring the cpu to a friend's house and check if it works on his system, I read it might be a ram voltage problem, I'll keep you guys updated
