Just got new internet and my PC isnt able to use it, says no internet connection

Alright, so we just got new internet for our house and my pc cant use it, it says no internet connection. (Im not a computer guy really so I dont know anything about the terms and what not) I have to use one of those wireless wifi usb things so I could be able to connect to it. I try connecting and It just says no internet connection. Is it a problem with my router or my pc? How can I fix this? My phone and my brothers laptop connect to it just fine.

Did you install all the software and drivers that came with your USB dongle? If so, i would suggest reinstalling.
