As the title says, I just installed a 3060 into my build and now occasionally my second monitor goes black and reconnects and displays the HDMI1 text. No issues otherwise with the card, everything seems to be running smoothly. Specs below, I'm on the most current driver available from GeForce Experience.

Which power supply/PSU are you using ? Try to check the GPU by using only 1 display at a time, just for troubleshooting purpose. Disconnect 1 display from the card, and then check the other display. Do it for both the displays.

Then check whether any of these go black or not while gaming ? You could also try swapping the display cables if need be. How much is the TEMP value of both the processor and graphics card during gaming/heavy load ?

There are few other causes as well for this black screen behavior, but first try doing the above method, then we can dive more into this, if the issue persists.

I have an EVGA 1000w 80+ PSU. It only happens when full screen gaming on monitor 1. I haven't tried the display cables yet, (I will, using an HDMI and a displayport adapter for the second monitor) but this wasn't happening with my 1660 super installed, worrying me that it's a gpu issue. Temps normal for both processor and gpu during games like Titanfall 2, Final Fantasy XIV, Jedi Fallen Survivor.
Maybe it's the new driver?

Hey @StevesSlowSSD, You might be onto something with the new driver suspicion. These issues can sometimes arise with driver updates. If you haven't already, you could try rolling back to a previous version of the driver, and see if the problem persists. You could also check to see if there's a newer driver available - sometimes these issues are resolved pretty quickly. Also, since you mentioned using an HDMI and a DisplayPort adapter, you might want to try using two of the same type of cable if possible. Adapters can sometimes introduce issues.
