I recently installed a msi z170-a pro motherboard into my computer. There are a lot of drivers missing at the moment. I want to update these drives, but USB and Network are among them. I can't connect to the internet. When I'm in the BIOS, my computer can detect any flash drives I'm using, however, my computer will not detect them while I'm in Windows 7. How do I update my drivers?

I think my windows 7 professional was either downloaded digitally, or it may have been installed while in the repair shop. I can't find the product key, and I'm not sure how I can even reinstall. Will I have to buy a new copy of windows 7 pro?

Okay, I've been able to get my product key from the repair shop. I've also been able to install usb drivers. The problem is I still can't connect to the internet, so I can't confirm my product key. I tried using the LAN drivers from the motherboard's site, but still nothing. Any ideas?

I believe I downloaded the correct drivers, and I'm pretty sure ethernet is enabled in BIOS.

I've gone from 11 drivers needing to be update to just 1, the ethernet connection. I've tried using several different drivers from different sites, but nothing's worked. I was also able to verify my windows 7 pro product key.

There's not some major difference between ethernet cables, right? Like, how there might be different cables for different motherboards? That's the only thing I can think of.
