I just installed a new ssd and I plan to make it my boot drive, since I just disconnected my hdd, which I will reconnect afterwards. But, every time I go to download BIOS drivers off of the website, it says that I cannot run the program on this PC. I'm fairly certain I need to get to my BIOS menu to make my ssd my boot drive, so I have no idea what to do now.

My motherboard is a GA-970A-UD3

Solution
You dont need drivers for the BIOS. It's hardware

Press the Del key or whatever key when you turn it on to get into it

What kind of ssd is it?? An SSD? M.2? NVME?

And you cant install drivers until windows is on the hdd
