So my "upgrade" has pretty much turned into an entire build, except for my video card. Pretty straight forward, but I am an over thinker. I hate finding better options/compatibility AFTER I'm up and running. I've flip flopped back and forth between the B450 Tomahawk Max and x570 Aorus Elite about a dozen times, any who....

looks good overall.
You will require a wifi USB/card... unless you already have one or don’t need it. I had the same decision to make but chose an asus tuf gaming X570 plus wifi board. My rationale was that the tomahawk max mb was $150. The asus wifi card was $50. So for another $40 I bought the X570 with wifi.

Good luck.

I ended up buying that exact parts list, except I went with an Adata XPG SX8200 Pro NVMe instead.
I always run direct ethernet connection, so I'm not sweating WiFi capability. I ended up going B450. By the time a GPU/x5000 comes out that utilizes PCIe 4.0 (and I can afford it) I'll just upgrade my mobo then.

Thank you for your input!! @rayanik @greigm78
