Just lost power for 5 seconds while running PC. Is it okay?

So I just lost the power in my house..
I believe due to thunder. It was just one rumble and then the weather settled. Very odd.

I was playing dead space 2 while this occurred. No updates were running. I also have a 400$ noise suppressor made by Furman which helps with sudden voltage loss and also cleans out the noise in the line.

I turned my PC on and everything seems in order except my desktop icons we're scattered a little. Do you guys think I'm fine?

Run a scandisk just to be safe.

Alright guys so I did run scandisk on both my HDD as well as SSD and no errors were found. Does this tool work? Let's say one of my saves were corrupted. Would this scandisk detect it? If everything does, then I guess guys were in the clear. I heard Furman was a good brand so I didn't want to cheap out on something just in case this happened

It looks for errors, that would prevent Windows from running properly.
