Just making sure my plan is good

i will receive my ssd tomorrow and i want to know if my plan is good and i didnt leave anything out:

1. remove old hdd and replace with new ssd

2. insert new firmware for crucial ssd and boot from cd.

3. proceed with the firmware update.

5. insert windows 7 disc and format drive and instal OS

6. install drivers

i didn't miss anything did I? and is that correct that i should do the firmware update before installing windows 7? anything else i need to do?

Looks good just make sure your drive is set to ACHI in BIOS!

but doing the firmware update before formatting it is correct right? EDIT: i have the crucial m4 ssd and the firmware fixes the 5400 hour bug.
