Just need confirmation my GPU is broken

My PC is built from fairly old parts, and I recently got a new monitor for it. I had an issue with the monitor getting black and white vertical lines on it, and figured the monitor must be broken, but today I had... a different issue. Im not sure exactly how to describe it, but my screen got incredibly glitchy a minute or 2 after startup..

Now im not completely clueless; I am fairly certain (but not 100%) that this is a GPU issue, but having someone to confirm this for me would be nice.

Try to connect your pc to a different monitor. Any will do. If this keeps happening, for sure it is the gpu.

Yeah as soon as the shop opens im going to go get it tested. I do not have a spare monitor lying around to test it unfortunately
