Just not trusting that stock cooler anymore..

I have an e-8400 with the stock cooler. I bought some arctic silver paste when i bought the processor but never used it. id like to buy a new cooler to keep my processor happy and perhaps try some over clocking. I really dont know where to start cooling wise but i dont want to go water cooling, air is just fine for me. So what do you guys think? Gimme some products i can check out or some good brand names and the like.

Best bang for your buck is Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro for $22 @directron. It comes with paste pre-applied which is at least as good as AS.

+1 for the Freezer7. Ive used both it and the AMD edition (Freezer64) and they are very good coolers for the price.

Yep not a bad cooler, Xigmatek till has my +1 recommendation though.
