I apologize, my indecisiveness is seriously ruining my night.
I learned and decided to not use my Administrator account. I'll instead use a Standard account (and I wanna link it with my original Microsoft account)

My question is:
  • Should the Admin account be converted to local, as in no Microsoft account attached? Currently my Admin account is attached to a new Microsoft account.
  • Is it better, instead, to make a new Administrator account and delete the original
Might seem like an easy decision but I've been struggling with these sorts of things.

I really feel like resetting the PC yet again because I should've ignored the Admin account from the start
Anyway, thanks, Reddit is strangely quiet tonight

Pardon my ignorance, but why would you not use an administrator account on what's presumably your own computer? Just so it prompted for admin password instead of just UAC confirmation, for a bit of malware resistance?

Not linking local accounts to Microsoft Account is more understandable. I didn't do that either.
