Nothing wrong with going Intel, just pricey. If you have the budget then go for it.

I might try a 1440p monitor at 144hz. I don't understand what all the buzz around about 4k 60fps gaming is. I don't mind my 1080p 144hz monitor I'm using right now

Thanks! After doing some research between the pro, ultra, and master z390, i decided to go with the Aorus ultra.
