Picking the following PC up today from a friend: hoping to run a Plex Client on it or some sort of linux boxee dedicated htpc software. Is it powerful enough to run mostly Hulu / Netflix, with some HD content from Amazon Video, etc to my panasonic plasma? Looking for 720p, rare 1080p play and some SD play. Thanks for input!

That should be plenty for basic htpc use. Netflix and Hulu are not that taxing on a system so I see no issues there. You have enough power there to playback high bitrate 1080p content in h264 so playing anything at 720p or lower will also give you no issues. I would say using that system as an htpc, you will have enough power to do what you want.
