Just put together awesome new build, but have 1 question HELP

I just was putting together a new build with 2 sapphire 7970 ghz edition cards and a xonar essence sound card and noticed the protective cover of the sound card touches the back plate of the graphics card in the pcie slot next to it. Will this pose any problems or is it perfectly acceptable?

It shouldnt cause a problem tho airflow seems greatly reduced

Even if the sound card was not there the back plate of the card would still reduce airflow as much, am I right? The only thing reducing airflow is the second card right smack in front of and blocking the fans of the first correct?

Ya don't worry about it just keep the temps of your gpu on check for a while
