So I just got my new case and GPU but my computer isn't turning on at all. I am pretty sure it is a problem with the case/mobo rather than the GPU. The case I got has different connectors to the case power button than I am used to so that might be the problem.

Here is a picture of it right now: http://i.imgur.com/LiiEkSW.png

Those are the only connectors that the case has.The one on the left is the power sw connector and the ones on the right are for the pwr led.

My motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128843

Another thread similar to this one said that he fixed it by resetting the CMOS but I have never done that before and would need some instruction. I will try it if nothing else works

They look right to me!
It is entirely possible the case has a bad button. I've had that happen to me before. All the button does is bridge the wire. Have you ever started a mobo without a power button? it is Very simple. All you need to do is bridge the connection between the two PWR pins with a metallic object like a screw driver. just touch both pins at the same time with the tip of a screw driver for a second or two, it should come right to life.

Yes, I have the CPU plug in, the GPU plugs in, and the big mobo plug in. When I press the power button absolutely nothing happens. I just heard that someone fixed this by unplugging the PSU cords helps. It was a from a reply on newegg:

" I just went thru this and seems the MB needs to discharge stored current till you get the all the components in your system installed, working and the cpu booted up. Every time you install a piece of hardware, un-plug the power to the PSU. Should help solve the problem. It did for me."

not sure if it will fix the problem though since I am at work right now for a few more hours.

The main thing I am concerned about is the placement of the mobo cords. I feel like I am putting them in the wrong place. My old case had a lot more mobo connector cords so it was easier to tell where to put them but this new case only has 2.
