My psu: Cooler Master Silent Pro M1000. I'm looking to replace my current graphics card which runs with 2 6 pin cables with a GeForce GTX 1080 which requires 1 6 pin and 1 8 pin cable. I have several 6+2 pin cables that came with the psu. I take one of those, plug it into the back of the psu using one of the outlets labled 6+2 pin/PCI-E, and connect the 6+2 end of it to the 8 pin connector on the new card. Correct?
