Just upgraded my motherboard but it won't boot

I am running windows 7 64bit
When I boot I get this message

You need to clean install windows if it's a different model motherboard.

If the new motherboard has a different chipset, your old windows likely did not have the correct drivers.

What was the motherboard change from/to?
And why?
