Solution
Download and burn a LiveCD with some Linux, and run your speedtest from within Linux. That way you will know whether it is software (Windows) or hardware problem.
What you read as 870Mbps? Connection speed?
In order to be able to reach 1Gbps over Internet, you need a place which can deliver these 1Gbps to you. So, most probably everything is OK, but the server(s) you are testing with do not have this bandwidth available just for you.

i plugged into my pc directly from modem and still only get 350.modem is testing at 870 per service tech at the house and i saw it.So i'm still thinking something in the bios is not set right

I did that and it was was hardware.went to bios and set bios to default which read new plug in device and now I am getting 800mbps . good enough as I was promosed 80 percent of 1 gig.thanx a million
