Just want a sound card driver and not a program

I have already bought Robot Driver and updated the driver for my sound and don't want to pay another $40.00 for a single driver. Isn't there any real free audio drivers for windosws 7? bjc9@cox.net

The manufacturers provide drivers free (except some of the bastards charge you to unlock functions that their cards already have). Driver Robot tries to determine which ones you need and finds them. We can do that much, much better. What sound card and/or motherboard do you have?

Unless you have a Creative sound card, why would you ever have to pay for drivers?
Drivers are free and provided by the manufacturer of the hardware.
