Hi!
I have an Asus x550c laptop.
As I mentioned I need to replace my adapter which is:
19V 65w 3.42A

The adapter I want to connect is:
19V 90w 4.74A

and the output fits of course.

I understood that what matters is the voltage, and the watts and amper are supposed to be equal or higher so I'm supposed to be in the clear, but I just wanted to make sure so nothing goes wrong.

I'll be glad if you could help :)

Solution
Check also the POLARITY (oftenly neglected), it should be the same as the adapter you are replacing, should look something like this:

Yes, the voltage (19V) should be the SAME while the amperes (3.42A) can be the SAME or HIGHER (never lower).
