Yes, those components will work fine together. But try to find a MATCHED pair of memory rather than individual sticks. Dual channel memory is very fussy about the 2 sticks matching EXACTLY when it comes to timing, voltage, speed, manufacturer, and even lot number.

Yes 8GB is perfect for that system.
