I have the k6+ mobo and a samsung 950 pro mounted to the m.2 slot. The drive doesn't say its mounted in the uefi but still recognized as bootable. It isn't recognized as a sata drive either. It does boot windows from the m.2 drive but when running a speed test I only get reads of 1500 MB/s and writes of 150 MB/s!! The write speed is more concerning. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? The board supports NVME and pcie x4 for m.2

Looking at the specs for your mobo, "Ultra M.2 (PCIe Gen3 x4 & SATA3)". That leads me to believe it would show as a PCIe drive, not as a SATA, although I'm not 100% sure.

The specs of the drive seem to show max 2,200MB/s read and max 900MB/s write. Clearly you're falling quite a bit short of those numbers given the speeds you've quoted. What method were you using to test those speeds?

I used AS SSD Benchmark last night. I'm at work now so won't be able to mess with it until tonight. I have the bios as most recent (1.9) as i just built the comp last week and updated the bios. In the UEFI there is a spot for m.2/pcie in the "simple menu" but it says n/a even though in the boot priority it shows samsung nvme 950
