K65 RGB/Gaming Lighting Issues! Ughhh

I have had the Corsair K65 RGB keyboard for about a month now and I have been having one main issue with the keyboard. The lighting effects seem to freeze with the launch of any game on Steam, Origin, Uplay. The issue is only noticeable when I have a profile on like the rainbow that have an effect, after a few minutes it will just freeze. The only way to fix it is to switch the polling rate switch back and forth. I know that I am not the only one with this issue by making a quick search on the googles. But I cant seem to find any fixes. Most people just respond to these threads by saying to update their firmware and update software. I am sure that I am up to date with those but is there any way to fix this? I have had this issue on windows 7 and I just installed windows 8.1 but still have the same issue. Does anyone have any way of fixing this? I am tired of having this issue with $150+ keyboard
