I spilt soda yes yes. I immediately unplug and shut down PC and then proceeded to take apart the k70 and air it and dry it. I put it back together and it works. All but the buttons on the top, to the right of the media, the windows lock, custom mode and light brightness. I relised when taking it apart a second time that a ribbon cable was lose. Fine but then the ribbon cable wont stick. Is there a solution to this or do i have to RMA and face the wrath of corsair for my stupidity?

The first shows me holding it down and that allows me to change the brightness and activate the windows lock. I dont want to spend 40$ to RMA because I live in malaysia BUT I have to order keycaps because some broke(before hand) and I am anyways spending around 50 US for that and I might as well get the keyboard fixed and I think corsair gives you keycaps with it so it would around the same price. But I doubt that. I have absolutely no idea but I just need to go back to mech keyboards soon.

EDIT: The sticker on the back is damaged. I know that voids warranty.

Solution
yeah at 8 minutes 10 seconds theres a little rubber piece you are missing it must have pinged off when you took it apart

edit--though that may be the connector next to the ribbon--you will have to watch it all to see how he takes it apart i only flicked through it
"Is there a solution to this or do i have to RMA"

It's no good requesting RMA for a keyboard you spilled liquid on - - that's your fault not fault of manufacturer.

RMA is for faulty products caused by manufacturing errors or poor quality, and you claim repair or exchange under warranty.

That clearly doesn't apply here so get real. You either fix it or pay to get it fixed.

next time--well hopefully you wont spill anything on it again lol--but next time take photos on your phone or camera as you take it apart makes life easier

i just wanted to say thankyou for your help!

I've had the same problem and this reply is really late, but I just put a cut and folded piece of paper over the connector before reassembling. Worked like a charm.
