Hi, I've been in the market for a keyboard and recently the k70 has caught attention (With the metal body and media controller) The trouble is that I don't have £150. I do have £100 so I have been looking at the red only k70. This one:

Currently its on deal and I can just about squeeze my budget for that extra £9. My question is coming from someone with a primary blue and purple setup Is the rgb version worth the extra £££ and will I regret buying the red only edition, also, can the LED's be turned off and does this detract from the usabilty from the keyboard? (I can touch type but still like having the keys to look at) I prefer MX browns.
