I was reading other message boards on the net and ppl have their k7s5a's overclocked, but I thought the board couldn't be oced. Can somebody point me to an article or something on how to overclock the k7s5a?

The only way to overclock that board is by changing the FSB. You can do that in two ways: using a program called CPUCool or by using an Unoffical "overclocking" bios.

I have a K7S5A 1.4GHz and I have it overclocked to 1.5GHz using CPUFSB and watercooling. Its a nice stable board.

Killian,

Can you tell me what settings you have under CPUFSB so I can oc to 1.5?

Thanks

Sure. The PLL setting is ICS 9248-199AF-CF. And I set the FSB and PCI to 142.7 and 35.6 respectively = 1500MHz. If that won't work 138.0 and 34.5 respectively will get you to 1450MHz. Both of these settings have worked for me.
