K7T Turbo and XP 1800+

I also posted a similar article on alt.comp.hardware before
finding this group. I have updated the BIOS on my mobo to
version six but cannot get the thing to post. This cpu is
working in another machine so I know that is not the problem.
Do I need to change a BIOS setting or jumper to use this cpu?

I have it currently running with a 700 MHz Athlon currently
running.

Are you sure the K7T Turbo supports the AMD Athlon XP 1800+
I see that confirmation only for the K7T Turbo2

Also they call the current Bios version 3.6 and not "six"
