Anyone user this?
I have it and was trying to update the BIOS (one of the fixes applies to
my NEO2 config - not finding Sata on boot) and realized that the drivers
in the DOS boot XP disk won't locate the SATA Raid drives...
So tried the "Live Update"! Not even close. Won't work...
So tried the old boot disk, with the BIOS on the disk and just using
the command interface... would not update to the 1.5 Bios...

No luck on any efforts. Does the thing even work? Anyone? Thanks.

No Problems here with 1.5 bios or any previous versions either. Though for
Maxtors-10 drives you need at least bios 1.4 and chipset driver 5.10.

Currently running 2 x 300gig Maxtor Plus10's with 16meg caches in Raid 0
On Sata ports 3&4 These are the only 2 sata ports that are locked if
overclocking. If not overclocking you can use any.

Check your Sata cables are good, I've previously had problems with poor Sata
cables which gave symptoms similar to yours. Avoid sharp bends with sata cables
too, they don't like it!

You should be able to see the Sata drives even in dos, although you wont be able
to access them if using NTFS of course. I use FAT 32 myself, a matter of
personal choice as I still work in Dos quite frequently.

Regards

Mike
