Is this normal for new Asus mobos?

Or is there a problem with mobos having integrated video (frame buffer
in DRAM) being incompatible with memory tests?

Even disabling "quick boot" in bios does not bring back the mem test.
Nor does using a true cold start (rear panel power switch off for a
minute).

The built-in memory test is generally almost useless anyway - if you
really want to test the RAM, use Memtest86..
