I just bought a Motherboard K8V SE DE with a xp64 3200. After running several benchmarks (3d mark 2005) I recognized that other with the same layout are way faster. After a other reboot I recognized that on the splash Screen of the BIOS the CPU speed shows 2.00Ghz! Is this correct? Isn't it 2.2Ghz. Can anybody help me? what is wrong?

A64 3200+ with 1MB cache (1024k) is 2.0GHz, A64 3200+ with 512k is 2.2GHz, it looks like you got the better core (more cache) with the slower clock. If you were an overclocker, you'd have a better starting point!

With the A64s, the multipliers are unlocked downwards. It is possible that your's got turned down. If you only have 512 L2 cache, try to set the multiplier to 11, in bios.
