Kaby Lake CPU with a Sandy Bridge Mainboard

What CPU would be best for this Mainboard? Would it be better if I bought a LGA 1151 instead?

Well, if you get a LGA 1151 MB you will need it all... That's MB, CPU and ram as LGA 1151 requires DDR4 memory.

Here is a list of LGA 1155 i5 CPU's.

All depends on what you have NOW and what you want.

Wel,l Right now I have a LGA 1155, a i3 2100 and a memory 4gb ddr3. I was thinking about buying a amd r7 360 if it's compatable with the rest, and a memory of 8gb ddr3. But I was wondering if I could get a better CPU. Also would it be better buying a LGA 1151, with a Pentium g4560, a Memory 8gb dddr4 and a R7 360?

In that case just get a ryzen 2200g. The ryzens integrated gpu is about the same as the r7 360.

I would have to buy a amd Mainboard right?

Yes and the fastes ram you can afford since that impacts the performance of the gpu a lot since it will be using system memory for the gpu.
