Does anyone know if Intel HD & Iris Graphics Drivers Version 21.20.16.4526 WHQL works with HD Graphics 630 on Windows 7 x64?

These video drivers include Kaby Lake iGPU device IDs. Have a look at igdlh64.inf line 155 and devid.info/237509

Does 2D / 3D run without crashing on Win7 x64?

Elbert, is there a link that shows

Intel 100 series chipset motherboard + Kaby Lake CPU + HD Graphics 630 + Windows 7 x64

doesn't work properly? IMHO it's worth a try :)

rgd1101, that driver won't work. Have a look at igdlh64.inf line 155 and compare with the drivers from the first post.

Page 2:

Based on our initial testing, we can confirm that HD Graphics 630 does not function correctly under Windows 7 and 8.1. Both operating systems install generic drivers for the display adapter, even after applying the latest drivers and updates, so many core features remain unavailable. We also experienced stability issues with Windows 7 that might even negate using an add-in GPU as a workaround.

I honestly don't think it was a chipset that was causing the system unstable, more likely OS problem with hardware paired and its lack of stable drivers to operate with that hardware.
Still if anyone can verify, it wont hurt.

Sure.
On January 15, 2016, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 would be the only supported Windows platform for Kaby Lake processors, and that all future generation processors under Windows will follow this trend and will only be supported by the latest Windows platform at their time of release. Intel has confirmed that no official Windows 7 or 8.x drivers will be produced for Kaby Lake.

Here is what I found so far:

Intel HD & Iris Graphics Drivers Version 21.20.16.4526 WHQL works with HD Graphics 630 and 100 series chipset motherboards on Windows 7 x64.
Windows 8.1 should probably work, too. Newer versions doesn't.

I have no idea if this works on 200 series chipset motherboards. We need more testers :)

Many thanks for the response, that's what I was doing but for whatever reason updating the driver via the Device Manager wasn't working!

Anyway problem solved as ASUS has now released a simple to run .exe beta video driver:
"Intel VGA win7_32/64/win8.1 Beta driver 21.20.16.4508 for the latest Intel processor"

HD 630 perfectly working on a i5-7500 / Win7 x64 desktop :D:D:D

Wanted to say thanks to Robrom. Just built an ASUS 270 AR MB and Kaby Lake i7700K system with ASUS GTX GPU on Win7 Pro 64bit. System is used for security cameras where Quick Sync is a must. Cumpulab 4K emulator works great with this driver and no issues what so ever!. Eight 5mb ip cameras at 30fps and CPU usage dropped by 50%.!
Could not find the driver at ASUS website but the interweb found it for me!.

Thanks again! (Great Site!!!) Will be back for more educational experiences.

I just wanted to confirm that both v21.20.16.4508 & v21.20.16.4526 are compatible with Kaby Lake iGPU and Windows 7 x64.

They work fine for the most part. I found two glitches:

4508 - it has a performance issue with the Cinebench R15 CPU test.
4526 - scaling doesn't work for some resolutions.

This is not a driver meant for Windows 10. It is for Windows 7.

I have tested driver for intel g4560 kaby lake (vga intel HD 610) from biostar web :
http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=835#download
or
http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=877#download

file is here :
http://download.biostar.com.tw/upload/Driver/Chipset/Intel/VGA/KBLake/WIN7Beta/win64_154514.4590.zip

that is beta version 15.45.14.4590
but it's working very well for win7 x64, any kind of Kaby Lake processor.

I think biostar has been modded the driver.

I was finally able to successfully install HD 630 drivers on my Windows 8.1 system.
After trying several of the above files and methods, this is what worked for me.
I downloaded the drivers (Intel 21.20.16.4526) from a Yandex drive (yes, the russian search engine)

[unofficial download link removed]
the download button is in the upper right portion of the page.
Otherwise try searching for "Intel_win64_21.20.16.4526.zip"

The drivers are unsigned, so you will have to disable driver signing enforcement to install them.

Worked for me.

Windows 8.1_64
Intel i3-7100 (HD 630/GT2)
Asus Z170 Pro Gaming

We recently purchased Dell XPS 8920 which has build in graphic card Intel Graphic HD 510.
As per you advice, i edited that igdlh64.inf file and replaced one of existing hardware id with my built-n video card hardware id.
I was able to install the driver.

Not sue how stable this is going to be. but so far it works.
