Question Kali linux boot error

I decided to update my kali linux os, after which it restarted for the update.
5 minutes in, electricity went out. later on i powered it on only to give me an error:
lib/systemd/stem-generetors/lvm-2activation generator failed with exit status 1

and can therefore not start successfully, any tricks would be appreciated

Reinstall from scratch. And next time make sure that you have reliable power available before running anything that may corrupt the OS installation.

And last but not least - Kali is not designed to be a daily OS, but rather booted from USB drive, for a project. Nobody will be impressed when you say, "My desktop runs Kali".

I ain't trying to impress anyone- been performing heavy tasks on it that would maybe need purchased software on windows. Yeah you can usb boot but woun't be able to install software or save unfinished work for next session. Got both kali and windows dual boots.
