Kali Linux dual-boot

So i run the Kali Linux installer, and for some reason, i cant move the mousepad

How do i fix this?

OPS: do not tell me that i dont need the mousepad, because i want to use it during the setup/installation

What does mouse pad has to do with Linux?
Is your mouse pad glued to the desk or something?

I mean the mousepad on laptops, you know the area were you can control the mouse under the [Space] button

Is your laptop supported by mainstream Linux distro (Ubuntu, Mint)? Master dual boot first with generic distro. Kali is not meant to be installed, but rather ran from USB.

What u mean run from usb? I said i want it to be installed, not live.... i dont wanna be forced to do all the updates and things every time i insert the usb

Again - Kali is not designed to be used as everyday OS (so you don't need updates).

Again - what's your experience with everyday' Linux distros? Is your laptop supported / working OK with them?

If you need Linux, how about sticking with the relatively more mainstream like Ubuntu/Kubuntu or Mint.
I personally prefer Mint because of the friendlier UI (friendlier = nearer to Windows).
