Karbonn, Micromax don't manufacture phones. They just re brand good Chinese mobiles. It has mediatek turbo quad core chipset running at 1.5 Ghz and carries common powerVR 544 gpu. FullHD screen is an overkill for this gpu and it scores only 30 fps in neenamark. It won't get any future Android release.
Don't buy this. Don't compare this with Nexus 5 which might be just 50$ more in US but it's 50% more in Indian market.

These days Indian manufactures are increasing the smartphone production! Yes 1GB RAM isn't suitable for this phone.

Karbonn, Micromax, Lava ARE MANUFACTURING mobile phones in India. They ARE NOT selling Chinese re-brands. In fact Micromax is the 2nd largest smart phone manufacturer in India behind Samsung.

Right.
I own micromax funbook which in other markets also sold as momo9/iview 760tpc etc. Their flagship phone is also sold under the name blu life one in other markets. etc. I respect micromax, karbonn for bringing good phones in low price range. I'm not a newbie here.
Do you believe everything they say? They promote aluminium textured plastic phone as full metal body phone.

They may know about business but nothing about tech. FullHD display on such a dismal hardware will make the phone slow. All companies sell similar hardware phones with 720p 5" screens which are cheaper, perform better, last longer and there's not much of the difference one can spot between 720p & 1080p at just 5 inches.

I still prefer Qualcomm CPU's over cheap Chinese quad cores. a 2core Qualcomm is more responsive than cheap 4cores CPU.

Yeah... you can buy a 8-core phone (2.0 ghz), 1080P, 2GB of ram right now free shipping from China for about $220. Nice phone, but India is still a ways behind.
