Question Kaspersky Rescue Disk on an external HD

Well, I have installed on USB hard drive K.R.S. version 18. I have noticed that the program is based on Linux OS.

I set in motion it when I turn on my PC. My question is how can I save the modifications of the Mozilla browser?

Another issue: When I turn off the PC and then I turn on it, I lost all data. What's the matter? How can I save also the programs on the external hard disk with OS?

First and foremost, it's a USB driven disinfectant for the system/PC/OS. Second, what sort of modifications are we talking about for Mozilla? You may need to elaborate on what sort of data you've lost from your machine. You can't save the apps on an external drive but you can save critical/important data such as documents/images and videos that would otherwise be hard to find(your precious memories).

Put the rescue disk iso on a two-dollar 4 GB USB flash drive with Rufus, not onto an external USB spinning drive...

I can't save the modifications of the starting page.For the rest I must see.

However I burn the iso image with Win32 Disk Imager.
