At first I thought this would be a great way for people to get some exercise walking/hiking in their choice of natural surroundings. Now I see that it's really targeted at people that want to experience a mass killing spree as realistically as possible. There is definitely a market for this!
I certainly think that this kind of VR locomotion peripheral is necessary to have a good VR experience, and it even saves a lot of space compared to normal lighthouse tracked space. I hope it gets enough attention to help with some more economies of scale.
