I've installed KB2976978, rebooted, and the GetWindows10App didn't recognize it. So I uninstalled it, rebooted, installed it, rebooted, and still the app doesn't recognize it. It shows up in the list of installed KB so I'm not sure what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm windows 8.1 on a Surface 3.

Solution
I solved it by issuing the command wuauclt.exe/updatenow from an admin run command prompt with the windows update window open (I used the old one from the control panel). Worked like a charm and the update went ahead just fine.
